Welcoming New Staff

Tuesday, August 8, 2017

Please join us in welcoming Alexandria Fraser and Ruth DeWitt to the SPAA staff team!

Alexandria Fraser, who joined us mid-July, is our new Administrative Assistant supporting the Urban Planning program & faculty. Having previously worked with Urban Planning as a temporary employee, she’s already familiar with our great faculty and MUP students. She will be splitting her time between our program and the Department of Spanish & Portuguese. Alexandria also shares a passion for planning, and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Planning from the University of Auckland.

Ruth DeWitt, having only joined us last week, is the new Communications Manager, replacing Alecia Gray. Her previous experience includes working as the Marketing Director for both Haase & Long, as well as the Lawrence Arts Center, and created marketing, coordinated events, and managed social media accounts. She was also the coordinator for the Friends of the Lawrence Public Library. Ruth is also a member of the Social Media Club of Lawrence, and has worked on community events such as the Free State Festival and Confabularryum as well.

Welcome Alexandria and Ruth!
