Robin Kempf received a bachelor's degree in American Studies from Brandeis University and a juris doctorate from the University of Kansas (KU). Before returning to school to pursue her PhD at the KU School of Public Affairs and Administration, she worked as an attorney in various positions for the State of Kansas, including serving as Associate General Counsel for the Kansas Board of Regents and Inspector General for the Kansas Health Policy Administration. Her research interests include government accountability, law and society, organizational behavior, and institutions.
