About: Conor Schultz, a Keane, Ridley and John And Carol Nalbandian Scholar, graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History in 2015. He participated in the Michigan in Washington program and worked at the Sierra Club as a Public Lands intern, assisting staff in legislative relations. After graduation, Conor moved to Cleveland, Ohio to work with the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants as a volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. He served as the Healthcare Coordinator at the regional office, educating new refugee arrivals to navigate the various aspects of the American healthcare system, including scheduling, transportation, insurance, and prescription management.
