About: Alyssa Warner, an Ethan Allen and R. Chesney Scholar, graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s in history and earned departmental honors. During her undergraduate years she was active in the research community and was a member of the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program where she studied the high enlistment rate of black women into the U.S. military. Additionally, she worked for the University of Kansas human resource management department as a student assistant and assisted with strategic planning projects, learning and development projects, and the KU Staff Fellows Program. Alyssa has a variety of experiences that have informed her interests in effective leadership, professional development, and project management.
