Portillo Is First Speaker in Last Lecture Series

Friday, February 6, 2015

Dr. Shannon Portillo will kick off this year's Last Lecture Series, which is co-sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs & KU Media Mix. Her presentation is titled, "Diverse Voices in Academia: Why the Questions We Ask and the People Who Ask Them Matter"

The idea behind this series is for University staff and faculty to give a presentation as if it were their last - their swan song, if you will. We're thrilled that Dr. Portillo is the first in a line-up of excellent speakers! We're also happy to note that this is NOT Professor Portillo's actual last lecture.
