Len’s current research is on collaboration and its impact on performance. His previous teaching experience includes serving as an assistant professor teaching Political Science at the United States Military Academy, West Point NY, and Strategic Studies and Operational Art at the US Army Command and General Staff College, Army University, Fort Leavenworth, KS. He also served as a teaching assistant for Professor Marilu Goodyear in PUAD 854 Innovation and Organizational Change at the University of Kansas. He has been a career military officer, serving as a Colonel and an Army Strategist with over 20 plus years of experience.  His current job title is the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence at the Army University, Fort Leavenworth, KS. His education includes an M.A. in International Relations, an M.P.A., and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Conflict Resolution from the Maxwell School of Public Affairs and Administration, Syracuse University, band a B.A. from Sam Houston State University in Criminal Justice and Police Administration.
