Eric Schumacher, a Mary Litchfield scholar, graduated from the University of Kansas with bach-elor’s degrees in Political Science and English. As a student, Eric served as an officer for two differ-ent student organizations and interned with a local firm where he did communications work for the 2013 Lawrence City Commission elections. He also served as Deputy Campaign Manager for a local Kansas House of Representatives race. Most recently, he worked on a project with the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City, bringing information on health care access to underserved areas of the community. Eric is currently interning in the City Administrator’s office in Prairie Village.
