Emily Hogan, a John and Carol Nalbandian and Mary Litchfield scholar, graduated cum laude from Wartburg College with a B.A. in Applied Music. During her senior year she served as the President of the Wartburg College Wind Ensemble, leading the group on a short term study abroad program to China and Japan. Emily participated in the Iowa College AmeriCorps volunteer program and served United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bremer County, Iowa. While at Wartburg, she also held the position of Communications Director for the Executive Board of the Wartburg Diversity Alliance.
