Chelsea Ren Morton, a Darwin W. Daicoff, Ethan Allen, and Harley Nelson and Virginia Purse Scholar, graduated with distinction from the University of Kansas (KU) in 2012 with a B.A. in Anthropology and a B.A. in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a research certification. Since graduation, she has served as the Director of Employment Services at The Willow Domestic Violence Center in Lawrence, Kansas where she oversaw the management of a work program for survivors of domestic violence in collaboration with the Department of Children and Families, designed and taught professional workshops, designed and managed internal initiatives, and participated in the executive management of the agency.
