Aurora Yager, a Darwin Daicoff scholar, graduated from the University of Kansas Honors Program with a Bachelor’s of Social Welfare and a minor in Public Policy. She also earned a Certificate in Service Learning. Throughout her undergraduate career, she was the Public Relations Coordinator for the Honors Program Student Council, Social Chair for the Bachelor’s of Social Welfare student group, a Visual Core team member for Students for Obama, and was involved in the service organization Alternative Breaks. Aurora also worked as a research assistant, and completed internships with a Kansas state representative and a local child welfare agency. She is currently interning at The Civic Council of Greater Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. Contact email:
